Fund Accounting Team Leaders / Assistant Managers
My client is a prestigious global wealth management company with an excellent reputation on the Irish market who currently have 900 staff in their Munster base. These permanent roles have opened up in Dublin and Munster due to new client wins and expansion of their services offerings in Ireland. Responsibilities
• Ensure valuations completed efficiently
• Train and motivate junior staff (complete appraisals, one to ones, performance reviews )
• Work closely with the fund accounting manager on various processes / projects
• Ensure all fees / expenses are paid on time
• Develop a close working relationship with client services
• Proactively seek to identify and improve current core procedures
• Seek to learn quickly and strive to continually improve service offered
• Maintain and improve the preparation of client reporting
• Liaise with other units – Shareholder Services, Trustee, Data Management, Control etc.

| Required Skills: |
• Strong knowledge of hedge/ mutual funds, financial instruments and of the valuations business
• Excellent computer Skills (Excel, Microsoft office suite)
• Central bank regulations knowledge a distinct advantage
|
| Experience: |
• Minimum 4-5 years+ experience in a fund accounting role with evidence of quality checking/reviewing team’s work (completing appraisals, one to ones, performance reviews with junior staff) |
| Required Education: |
Qualified Professional
• Degree qualified in Business/ financial services (desirable) |
