Asset Manager Debt Solutions
In this dynamic role you will be dealing with a residential mortgage loan book and will be tasked with maximising return on distressed loans. You will work within a small team (circa 16 people.) and there will be no people management involved in this hands on and transactional position.
My client is a global multinational based in Dublin 2 who are Europe’s largest independent servicer of distressed mortgages. This role offers an attractive benefits and bonus package in addition to excellent working hours: 9:00am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
• Management of the assigned loan portfolio, ensuring that the management is in line with all relevant legislative policies
• Conduct due diligence on the loan portfolio and assist in formulating the optimum strategy to maximise loan recovery
• Attend borrower and client meetings as required and act as the daily point of contact for queries from the Client, Borrowers, Borrowers’ financial advisors and other professional advisors
• Co-ordinate all regular management information and ad hoc report requests for the team as required
• Draft strategy and credit papers
• Liaise with Property Sales Agents, Solicitors and Insolvency Practitioners to ensure that strategies are implemented

| Required Skills: |
• You must hold one of the recognised professional designations specified in the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code such as QFA or APA (Loans) – applicants who do not meet this minimum requirement cannot be considered
• Experience of working in a client facing environment and of negotiating with distressed borrowers and their advisors, coupled with a strong background in managing complex cases
