My Client
My client, a financial services institution provides specialist financial services products to alternative investment funds, investors, private clients and Multinationals. With employees in 45 countries they are a pioneering, client centric organisation.
This role is based in the Luxembourg Office.
Due to exciting new business development within their Real Estate & Private Equity division, they are seeking to engage with a strong Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager, or a Qualified Accountant from a practice background with exposure to Real Estate Funds.
With the Real Estate Private Equity division expected to double in size globally over the next 12-18 months you will have had hands-on, Real Estate specific accounting expertise and have demonstrated capabilities in managing the administrative function of multiple Real Estate funds or SPVs with US GAAP & IFRS reporting knowledge.
With this role being client centric, you will also manage client service relationships directly as a relationship manager.
Main Job Functions/Tasks
Manage a team responsible for the following tasks
Overall responsibility for client relationships and meetings
Interact with senior management and manage overall relationships for multiple clients
Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internally
Preparation of client service plans including annual budget
Establish plan for new client setup and transitions
Coordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
Manage the fund accounting team responsible for all elements of the production of the NAV and reporting for a portfolio of real estate funds
Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process
Review fund partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials
Coach, develop, train staff
Review trading and operations processes for the Company’s real estate division
Strong knowledge of waterfall structures, modelling and calculations
Familiarity with Yardi is an advantage
Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting
Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
Professional Accounting qualification a plus |
