Excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Custody/ Client Services professional to join a Global Financial Services Leader located in Dublin’s City Centre.



The Position

The candidate will be expected to have experience working as a client services manager and should also have a strong understanding of cash flow processes, reconciliation, derivative instruments and ancillary custody products / services. Acting as key point of contact within the business for the department’s activity and reporting to an AVP within Custody Operations, this permanent position offers an opportunity for the successful candidate to have a significant role in the custody department.



The Role:

• Manage, control and direct the operations of assigned custody group in tandem with senior custody management;

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internally and externally and maintain an understanding of client SLA provision;

• Identify the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; generate possible solutions;

• Represent team on local, regional or global working group, projects or committees as required;

• Monitor and comply with changes to the 'risk' escalation chain including communicating amendments to staff;

• Manage the take on of new business;

• Assist with compliance/fiduciary reviews, controls, and audits as needed;

• Ensure that appropriate SLA's in place with internal departments and other delegates and actively manage their service delivery;

• Encourage innovative approach from team and foster environment of positive attitude towards change and improvement.



The Skills:

• 5 years + experience in a Custody / Client Services function

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent custody knowledge within financial services sector

• Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills

• Excellent organisational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.

• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Access
