About the Company
An extremely attractive Senior Appointment has just arisen with one of my clients, a globally leading provider of Investment Services, Fund Administration and Investment Management.
Due to EMEA business growth my client are seeking to hire and experience Regulatory Reporting Accountant to lead and grow the Financial Control division in Ireland.
With ample chance for further development and progression, in a business with a strong reputation in the market from both employee relations and market perspectives, this role would suit an ambitious individual seeking to add to an already strong skill set.
About the Role
Reporting to the EMEA Head, you will be responsible for both the control and oversight of all Irish Regulatory and Statutory reporting for the business, ensuring excellent client delivery on all fronts. This position is absolutely key to the bank and is a visible role with substantial interaction between both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be communicating and building relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory bodies, External and Internal Auditors, as well as internal Compliance, Risk, Treasury and other Finance Operations teams.
You’ll be expected to provide advice and direction ensuring successful delivery of regulatory requirements for a number of the business’s legal entities including an Investment Management, Fund Admin and Custody entities and an additional brand new clearing vehicle.
In this role you will be the Regulatory Subject Matter Expert for Ireland.
About you
You will be a qualified accountant with around 10 years experience, with an ability to see the bigger picture in a large organisation. You’ll drive change, efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and appropriately manage risks. You’ll be ambitious and driven, seeking to further your career not just now but in the short to medium term.
You’ll have detailed knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland statistical reporting, liquidity reporting, UCITs reporting and more. You’ll be diligent and be able to manage and build relationships so that you can influence and communicate at a strategic level. |
