Overview
As part of a growing team in funds, you’ll be assigned a portfolio at a level relevant to your existing experience and potential, given additional responsibilities and client exposure as you demonstrate your skills; supported and mentored by senior staff along the way.
The day to day
Preparing board packs
Gathering and collating information from multiple sources including accountants, lawyers, and other internal stakeholders
Taking minutes
Subsequent write-ups / reports
CRO filings
The portfolio assigned to you will be predominately UCITS / non-UCITS, mostly Irish in terms of jurisdiction so operating under Companies Act 2014 but depending on your initiative and ambition, you may be assigned clients under Cayman and/or Lux
What’s needed?
Funds experience is not a prerequisite!
16mths+ company secretary experience from legal, practice or financial services
ICSA qualified or pursuing same
Experience in taking minutes from board meetings > a little more advanced than board template resolutions
