Job Title: Tax Manager

€55000 - €65000

My client have a strong market reputation and service a broad range of domestic and international clients of all sizes. With strong growth forcast over the coming years the role of Tax manager comes with excellent career opportunities going forward. This role would suit a tax manager/senior in a smaller firm looking to broaden their portfolio and learn from an experienced team, with large Irish SME's and international corporates among the client portfolio.

The Role

Tax planning particularly focusing on corporates delivering advice on tax structuring/ restructuring, M&A and inbound investment.
Assist the tax directors and partners with consultancy projects
Project managing tax planning assignments to ensure timely delivery.
Management and development of more junior staff
Management of the preparation of corporation tax returns in an efficient and accurate manner.
Liaising with clients to ensure timely submission of tax returns and payment of taxes.
Liaising with Auditing / Accounts Department on tax compliance matters.
Engaging with Revenue on behalf of clients.
Dealing with ad-hoc tax related queries from clients.
Meet scheduled deadlines for completion of work.
The Person

Qualified AITI (and/or ACCA/ACA qualified) and a minimum of 4+ years’ tax experience and ideally specialising in Corporation Tax, FDI, M&A Tax. Candidates with a specialist in personal or corporate tax will be considered, should they wish to broaden their experience
Self-motivated individual who wishes to work in a growing and dynamic practice on high-level planning assignments delivering a quality service on each and every assignment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong commercial awareness
Excellent project management skills with commitment to meet tight deadlines;
Commercially astute with strong business acumen;
Strong communication skills, including report writing;
Ability to work both on your own initiative and within a team environment
