Are you a recently qualified Big 4 or Top 10 accountant trained within the funds / financial services department? Seeking your first move post-practice (experienced Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager) or looking to progress your career after a few years in industry? Currently working in Cork or looking to relocate/return home to Cork?
My client, a leading financial services firm are looking to hire a financial reporting manager for their Cork office who ideally is Big 4 trained with previous exposure to the funds industry – a great first move post-practice. Alternatively a qualified accountant currently working as a financial reporting or financial accountant in the Funds/FS industry. This position is located in Cork and there is an attractive salary package on offer for the successful candidate.
The successful applicants for this position will be responsible for overseeing and growing a team
involved in the areas of financial and regulatory reporting. The individual will take responsibility for coordination of regulatory reporting and ensuring financial reporting needs are met.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review of the semi-annual and quarterly financial statements
Researching and resolving technical queries from clients and audit teams
Ensure all financial records are in compliance with the accountancy standards - IFRS / UK/US GAAP
Budgeting and forecasting analysis
Liaising with the external parties
Maintain knowledge related to regulatory changes affecting funds |

ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant
Previous experience working within the funds industry / funds audit within the Big 4 |
