Description:
Finance Officer (permanent)

The Finance Officer will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of a busy finance team, including banking, petty cash and credit card reconciliations as well as GL transaction posting and budget reporting. Applications are welcomed from candidates with an accounting technician qualification (or similar) and 3yrs+ experience working in a finance team.

Finance Manager (6 month fixed-purpose contract)

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of a small finance team, providing ongoing support and coaching to the team, as well management of ongoing finance systems, projects and reporting. Applications are welcome from fully qualified accountants with 3yrs+ post qualification experience in a busy finance team & 2yrs+ experience managing a finance team.

Required Skills: Finance Officer
Passionate about young people, their mental health and achieving change in Irish society
receivable/banking/bank reconciliations/general ledger/ budget vs actual reviews.
Experience with accounting packages
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Be able to prioritise work and an ability to work under pressure
A responsible person who can follow procedures and guidelines
Strong Excel and Word skills
Ability to work in a supportive role to other members of the team

Finance Manager
The ability to manage and prioritise own workload and that of your team, and work with flexibility, reliability, and particular initiative to meet deadlines.
Systems focused with an eye on continued process improvement and process efficiencies necessary for growth
Demonstrated relationship management skills and experience in working in a supportive manner on financial issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work with a range of professionals from broad backgrounds.
Experience in using accounting software packages.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational, administrative and time management skills.
Solution focused with strong negotiating skills and integrity.
Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Passionate about young people, their mental health and achieving change in Irish society.
Desirable Skills: Finance Officer
Experience of Accounts IQ accounting software
Full, clean driving licence.

Finance Manager
Audit experience/trained in practice
Experience working in Not For Profit organisation
Experience of dealing with funders/investors preferably with an understanding of statutory funding.
Experience: Finance Officer
A minimum of 3 years working in a finance team with experience in accounts payable/accounts

Finance Manager
A minimum of three years post qualification experience in a busy finance department with minimum two years’ experience of managing a finance team to tight monthly deadlines.
Required Education: Finance Officer
Accounting technician qualification or similar or studying ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent

Finance Manager
Fully-qualified accountant.

Jigsaw is the National Centre for Youth Mental Health in Ireland with the mission to bring about significant change in how Ireland thinks about, responds to and supports young people's mental health.

Our Jigsaw Service is currently in 13 communities across Ireland providing early intervention supports to young people aged 12-25. Alongside the brief therapeutic supports we provide for young people aged 12-25 years we also provide capacity building, education and training to a wide range of groups in the community, including young people. We represent an innovative approach to promoting and supporting youth mental health, in line with best practice in terms of clinical, financial and operational governance.

Youth participation is a guiding principle of Jigsaw’s work and is a central feature of the design and planning of all Jigsaw projects. Jigsaw is closely guided by a nationwide network of 130+ Youth Advisors, aged between 16-25.
