Audit Manager
In this role you will manage a small department supplemented by external consultants. Perform audits as well as perform coordinated audits with the Head of Audit. The most important skill set required is the ability to use critical thinking to understand the inherent risks in the process and to develop appropriate tests to evaluate whether the related procedures and controls are operating effectively.
Develop a comprehensive annual risk based Internal Audit Plan for the evaluation of controls, both financial and operational and submit it for approval by the Audit Committee. The plan is based on the group risk assessment and developed with the global team. Maintain a proposed there year plan and update during the risk assessment.
To plan, organise and carry out the activities of the internal audit function, as per the requirements of the Internal Audit Plan, reporting findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee.
To attend Audit Committee meetings to brief members on the contents of Audit Reports and other issues. Report audit follow-up to each audit committee. Meet with the Audit Committee Chair prior to meetings to discuss the agenda. To make recommendations to Heads of Department to address weaknesses identified and monitor the extent of implementation and the effectiveness of agreed corrective plans. |
