Geneva BAU Manager
A leading Financial Services company are seeking a BAU Manager for their Geneva Platform System project. The successful candidate will manage the BAU change projects globally for the business and will manage all Geneva reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine operating procedures to identify common business standards for set up and data requirements on Geneva and determine appropriate ‘operating standards’ to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency of valuation procedures globally
• Responsible for all BAU releases including report releases, bug fixes, client request and stand-alone projects
• Provide clear MI to stakeholders and sponsors
• Work closely with IT and Product to create realistic schedules
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure strategic project work and BAU project work do not have conflicting objectives as defined by manager steering groups
• Responsible for BAU releases
• Work closely with Geneva programme manager to fully utilise available business resources
• Drive the culture by promoting Target operating model defined for Hedge Funds and there by contributing towards creating opportunities for changes/automations, cost reduction and sustainable saves
• Interact with Senior IT developers on day to day basis for project requirements and developments
• Assist senior team members of the Global product Management in order to prioritise the Business requirements and get them developed
Key Skills/Qualifications:
• Educated to Degree level in a relevant field
• Expert knowledge on NAV and other A&V products
• Excellent experience within the Finance and Banking industry, ideally supporting hedge funds
• Demonstrable problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
