The Company:
My client, the Asset Servicing division of a European Financial Services Institution with over $2 trillion in AuA is seeking to grow out their established Financial Reporting team. Arguably the best in the business when it comes to work life balance and company benefits, which can be a rare beast in the industry.
The Role:
This team is a highly skilled and dependable option for Advisers to prepare financial statements, ensuring they conform to the latest accounting guidance.
This team based in Dublin and comprises of licensed and certified accountants with significant public accounting experience, and financial reporting specialists with relevant fund industry experience. Clients are mostly European based and depending on experience, the role can be client facing.
It is of course currently Financial Reporting season and so although thorough training will be provided, it is to be expected that you will have the knowledge and experience to be able to pick things up quickly.
About You:
You will have a client focussed outlook, comfortable in dealing with clients managing relationships internal and external stakeholders including client, auditors, the regulator, business directors and all internal teams. At the same time you will be able to manage a busy and diverse workload and be very mindful of reporting deadlines. You’ll have experience in Audit, Accounting or Financial Statement preparation and be a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant.
About the day to day:
You will organise funds’ annual, quarterly, and/or monthly unaudited financial statements in conformity with the relevant accounting standards (U.S. GAAP / IFRS / FRS 102). Additionally, you’ll organise financial information required for regulatory filings under UCITs and AIFMD. |
