Senior Testing Manager ‑ Prudential Risk Assurance
A leading Financial Services company based in Dublin are seeking a Senior Testing Manager to join their Prudential Risk Assurance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating knowledge of the regulatory environment, planning and executing assurance engagements through the identification, interpretation and examination of compliance with EU Financial Services Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver a risk based Prudential Assurance Testing plan which provides adequate coverage over the key risks across the business
• Develop risk policies and procedures
• Management and execution of engagements and coordination of day to day activities
• Accountable for delivery of clear, succinct review reports and recommendations
• Effective management of relationships with key stakeholders, enabling the performance of review
• Provide timely and robust subject matter expertise and insights to review teams as required and contribute to the periodic audit planning process
• Work with the review team and senior management to determine a course of action for potential issues
• Responsible for personnel management on team in accordance with HR Policies including performance evaluations, career development, training and recruiting
• Facilitate training to develop colleagues’ knowledge in related areas of expertise
• Deliver to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
• Assist in ad hoc projects which have a regulatory element and help to promote a strong risk and control awareness culture in the business
Key Skills/Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a compliance/audit/risk role in a Financial Services company
• Education to degree level; accountancy or professional compliance qualification is an advantage
• Awareness of key compliance and regulatory topics and exposure to Irish and EU regulatory environments
• Comprehensive understanding of risk and control environments in Financial Services
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
