GDPR Operations Manager
A leading Financial Services company based in Dublin are seeking an experienced GDPR professional to act as an interface into their Client Operations team for a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the conclusion of the personal data inventory which will support various functions in their compliance of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that data recorded in core processes is kept up to date
• Identify any information gaps and undertake activities to support closing them
• Act as a liaison to senior management and board of directors to keep them up to date with the personal data inventory
• Support business analysts to identify, track, escalate and/or resolve business data processing issues
• Support the development of detailed business process maps to facilitate requirements gathering and gap analysis
• Seek input from the business stakeholders by facilitating sessions
• Support the introduction of new or enhanced business processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and internal and external teams
• Identify issues and escalate and manage the resolution
• Coordinate the operations team in providing local requirements supporting SARs
• Determine the roles required and qualify the volume of work that will originate from SARs
• Track the effectiveness of SARs after the ‘Go-Live’ date
Key Skills/Requirements:
• Extensive experience in all areas of the project lifecycle and an excellent understanding of project methodologies
• Previous experience in identifying and assessing key business processes
• Experience within Financial Services and some experience in an IT field
• Strong knowledge of business process modelling and process mapping
• Excellent written and verbal communications
