Associate Director ‑ Prudential Risk
A leading Professional Services company based in Dublin are seeking an experienced Risk professional to join their Prudential Risk team as an associate director. The team is responsible for providing solutions to regulated entities to help them meet prudential regulatory challenges, ranging from supervisory reporting to providing technical advice on key regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical knowledge and calculations relating to clients’ regulatory reporting and disclosures on the market
• Draft information to clients in relation to prudential supervisory submissions
• Provide expert knowledge to support client queries related to MIFID II, AIFMD, etc.
• Grow knowledge as changes in legislation and guidance are drafted and published
• Identify areas for improvement and manage change in client requirements and service offerings
• Participate in face to face meetings with clients and regulators
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
• Ensure quality and timely service is delivered to clients
• Provide trusted feedback to clients on a range of issues and areas
• Assist in preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives
Key Skills/Qualifications:
• 5 years’ + professional experience with at least 1 year at management level in banking, investment management of professional services
• Extensive knowledge of parts of prudential regulation
• Understanding of banking and investment management governance, processes and organisations
• Knowledge of financial reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
