Accountant: Finance Department
Job Description
Our clients Australian and European finance teams are responsible for the day-to day accounts and administration processes of the company. We are looking for a proactive, energetic person with 3 to 4 years’ experience in a busy accounting environment. You will have had hands on experience in high volume transactional daily cash, accounts payable/receivable reconciliations, month-end processes, financial statement preparation, budget analysis and completed all tasks within a timely and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities for multiple countries including Ireland, Australia, Luxembourg and the UK
Will be heavily involved in multiple areas of the Finance function including corporate and management reporting, regulatory reporting, client profitability, etc. There is a significant opportunity for high personal growth and learning with daily contact with Director and Senior Manager members of the team.
Task include
Preparing accounts to trial balance stage and maintain all supporting schedules
Preparing financial statements and liaise with external auditors
Balance sheet and Income Statement analysis
Budgeting and forecasting analysis
Maintain the fixed asset register
Prepare VAT and Corporation Tax returns
Manage the accounts payable process
Liaise with New York head office on a daily, monthly basis
Other daily ad-hoc duties |

| Required Skills: |
An enthusiastic team player who works well under pressure, in a busy work environment
Computer literate and with strong Microsoft Excel skills
Confident communicator both written and oral |
| Experience: |
3 to 4 years’ experience in a broad hands on accounting role |
| Required Education: |
Min 2.1 in Business Studies, Finance / Accounting degree or equivalent
Part qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA |
