Job Title: Revenue Reporting Accountant (Big 4)
Location: Dublin

Description:
Are you a Big 4 trained accountant (AM level) looking for a move into a commercially focused team within a leading FinTech firm? Sitting within the sales management department this revenue reporting role will be responsible for managing the revenue cycle from start to finish, managing commercial relationships and reporting to the wider group. Thanks to ongoing growth and an ambitious acquisition plan this is a fast paced, dynamic and exciting environment which will offer solid career progression in the short to mid-term.

My client is a leading FinTech firm with a global reach and a diverse portfolio of entities operating in multiple jurisdictions and across a variety of markets with clients including leading blue chip firms. The position sits within the commercial team and will have exposure to senior management; hence the position will suit an assertive and confident individual.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial and management information used for key decision-making purposes. This will include revenue reporting and analysis, pricing review and analysis, and commercial review of proposals and contracts for customers
Presentation of detailed analysis and commercial status to the senior management team
Financial modelling
Ongoing financial and commercial due diligence
Assist with the integration of newly acquired companies, with a focus on change management and process improvement
Assist with the management & analysis of large volume of contracts with global customers
Planning contract renegotiations
Review and negotiation of software licensing agreements, service agreements, and other legal documents for the company’s business
Analysis of contractual terms in respect of internal and external queries
Coaching and mentoring graduates, with opportunities to progress into a management role
Ad-hoc financial analysis

Required Skills: Self-motivated and hard-working individual who is goal orientated
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Ability to identify areas for possible improvement and project manage change initiatives
Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Focus on self-development and continued learning
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Attention to detail
Process orientated
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Commercially astute
Required Education: Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA and Big 4 trained preferred) or alternatively minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial role
Strong Academics (1.1 or 2.1 degree)
