| Description: |
Our client provides motor insurance specifically designed for the fleet of their sister company, world-wide provider of full service multi-brand vehicle leasing.
Their Dublin office has wide expertise across the insurance, actuarial, finance and legal fields, and many years’ experience in effective risk and claims management. Due to continued and expected growth in the business they are seeking to recruit an additional qualified accountant to join the Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly management reporting & analysis
Annual and quarterly returns to the Central Bank including Solvency II QRT’s
Assisting in the preparation of the annual Solvency and Financial Condition Report
Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and related audit matters
Participate in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, monitoring of monthly result and variance analysis & explanation
Operational tasks including ledger entries & reconciliations.
Maintaining systems and controls to ensure adequate documentation and audit trails
Other duties as assigned |

| Experience: |
Qualifications and experience
Must have a recognised Accountancy qualification. Post qualification experience not required
Exposure to non-life insurance business (either directly or via audit)
Third level degree in a business/finance related discipline |
