Compliance Assistant
The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day running of the Compliance Department and the fulfilment of the Company?s Compliance obligations both within Ireland, the UK and elsewhere.
Responsibilities include the monitoring of compliance timetables and ensuring timely reporting, supervision of procedures for sanctions and licence monitoring and supervision of other procedures to counter financial crime that will include anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption and Data Protection activities. The Compliance Assistant is also responsible for maintaining compliance registers and files. Assist the Compliance function and contribute to the management and monitoring of effective risk based and commercially applied compliance with Irish regulation, UK regulation and others as appropriate. Lloyd?s, overseas and EU insurance regulations and sanctions. To assist the Compliance function in monitoring and reporting that meets all regulatory and other deadlines. Liaise with underwriters on licensing and approvals and pre bind financial crime screening of third parties. To assist, and perform where appropriate, the completion of regulatory applications, returns, forms as required. Maintain and document appropriate systems and procedures for the compliance function including facilitating the annual review of the Compliance Policy and other Compliance related policies. Monitor Conduct of Business obligations and ensure compliance therewith, including filing of regulatory returns.
Must have Compliance experience that has been gained within Insurance or Reinsurance and also includes exposure to Lloyd's Syndicates. |
