Are you an experienced financial reporting accountant (within funds) looking to advance your career with a rapidly expanding firm?
My client is a leading FS firm who are expanding their financial reporting team due to new client wins. An excellent opportunity to advance your career with a growing firm, the role is primarily financial reporting focused with some additional operational responsibilities.
The Role:
Manage the financial reporting process for all clients from planning, financial statement preparation and review, audit management, financial statement comment review and processing, board approval and filing.
Manage the preparation of the audited annual and interim financial statements within the team in compliance with relevant accounting standards and the relevant regulatory disclosure requirements.
Train and develop members of the team
Continually review audit / financial statement processes to ensure efficiencies are continually gained
Attend board meetings for approval of accounts
Develop relationships with other internal departments, clients and auditors
Assist in the review of fund distribution calculations
Assist in review and completion of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns including monthly NAV return and MMIF reporting
Assist in review of monthly client reporting and KPI's
Ensure errors or problems are identified and investigated on a timely basis; provide guidance for solutions to resolve
Ensure all tasks performed within the team are completed in a timely manner |

| Experience: |
Requirements:
Degree in business studies, accounting or similar
ACA / ACCA Qualified
Relevant experience working with Irish UCITS regulations and IFRS |
