About the Role
You will act as the MLRO and Deputy MLRO for a number of legal entities and funds. Experience with Cayman domiciled funds is a bonus. You’ll be responsible fostering a top-down approach to the importance of compliance with a particular focus on AML and CFT.
Given the positions’ seniority, you will report to the governing board on AML/CFT states of play across the funds under your remit and you’ll be a main point of contact for regulatory authorities regarding updates or any reporting of suspicious activity.
About You
You’ll have around 6/7 years experience within a Compliance function, with excellent knowledge of AML and CFT. A qualification in a compliance related discipline would be beneficial. If you aren't an MLRO currently, you will ideally have worked as a Deputy MLRO or as an MLRO on a project basis. You can work with limited guidance, though be comfortable in collaborating with the team on group projects. You’ll need to work to local and international regulatory deadlines so time management is hugely important, along with the confidence to face off with C Suite level internal and external stakeholders. |
