Job Title: Investment Operations Specialist

Description:
Overview:

The Investment Ops team assumes responsibility for daily support of, and technology solutions for, the Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Financial Reporting Departments.

As an Investment Operations Senior Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the successful and accurate completion of the daily centralised processing requirements for Alternative and Mutual Funds and providing support to the various departments, whilst strictly adhering to established departmental policies and procedures required to process Alternative and Mutual Funds.

The day to day:

Bank Debt/Loan Administration:

Review and process bank loan related activities including: pay-downs, borrowings, interest payments, rate resets, rollovers, and restructurings on the Geneva Fund Accounting system and Wall Street Office
Responsible for maintenance of loan asset master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system
Communicate and coordinate information between investment managers, agent banks and accounting teams in a timely and effective manner
Investment Pricing and Maintenance:

Daily completion and Review of Security Price Tolerance Controls for all Alternative and Mutual Funds within Fund Accounting systems
Responsible for maintenance of security master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system
Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
General Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintenance of static level data across the various platforms that impact underlying transparency for administrative services and client deliverables
Gain understanding of current solutions and make recommendations for future solutions to enhance the company’s outsourcing services
Actively participate in project plans associated with solution development and implementation based upon agreed business requirements
Query, problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation)
Facilitate communication between departments in Dublin and the U.S
Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal units within the company
Strictly adhere to established departmental processing procedures and controls
Train, coach and mentor more junior members of the team or across the company where appropriate
Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required

Required Skills: So what’s required?

The ideal person for this role has approximately 2yrs+ operational background in Hedge/Alternative Fund Accounting or Corporate Trust, has working knowledge of Geneva or a similar FA system, knowledge of bank debt processing functionality using the Geneva fund accounting system and/or Wall Street Office, knowledge of the Syndicated or Private Debt Loan Market and various security types
