Are you a qualified or part qualified accountant who is fluent in German?
My client is an American, publicly traded company that designs, manufactures, and sells analogue and mixed-signal integrated circuits. They are looking for an accountant who is fluent in German to join their expanding team based in the Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast growing organization.
The Role:
Preparation and posting of accounting journals, including accruals & prepayments for a variety of European entities while adhering to month end reporting deadlines
Completion of routine monthly and quarterly US GAAP based financial accounts
Review monthly intercompany recharges and ensure compliance with various intercompany agreements and internal procedures
Analysis of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
Responsibility for the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including supporting schedules, in accordance with the reporting timetable
Projecting and monitoring assigned entities monthly cash flow
Responsibility for the preparation of local GAAP based annual financial statements and tax returns
Dealing directly with external auditors and senior stakeholders to ensure on time filing of the financial statements
Preparation of indirect tax returns (including VAT, EC Sales, Intrastats) and other statistical returns for review and filing
Contribution to process improvements within the global accounting team and wider office environment |

| Required Skills: |
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Fluent English & German a prerequisite
Industry related experience desired but not essential
Proficiency in using MS Office suite of applications with advanced Excel skills is a desirable requirement
Ability to work on your own initiative but also work well in a team, be a strong communicator and have an eye for detail |
