Reporting Accountant with a new Financial Services Company
Brexit entrant is offering an opportunity for Qualified Accountant to join their team from the start. This will prove an exciting time as they build their personnel along with the business.
* Preparation of external financial statements for Irish legal entities
* Preparation of regulatory returns for UK, Bermuda, and Irish legal entities, including Solvency II and BMA reporting
* Liaise with internal and external audit
* Support the establishment of accounting controls and procedures for regulatory reporting
* Preparation of tax returns and provisions for Irish legal entities
* Maintain and improve internal controls and procedures documentation
* Assist with financial guidance and relevant analyses
* Ad hoc projects as required
We are looking for:
* A professional accounting qualification
* Post qualification experience preferably gained in an insurance or reinsurance or Financial Services environment.
* Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications with advanced Excel skills
* Detailed knowledge and experience of US GAAP an UK and Irish GAAP for accounting
* Advanced and proven financial, analytical and organizational skills |
