Would you like to make a move into corporate finance? Work with a small and well-regarded corporate finance team? Be involved from Day 1 with valuations/M&A and debt advisory of leading Irish SME’s/start-ups and household names?
Working closely with the Corporate Finance Partner, this is an excellent opportunity to join a boutique corporate finance team with extensive global connections to market leading expertise. This newly created role is an interesting blend of financial advisory, analysis and structuring across different sectors and with varying corporate and public sector clients.
The ideal candidate will currently be an experienced senior / assistant manager in a medium / large sized firm. Exposure to some Corporate Finance / Advisory work would be ideal but commercial astuteness and willingness to apply oneself will compensate for lack of same.
Responsibilities:
Working on corporate finance engagements including transaction structuring, valuations, M&A advisory, strategic advice, debt negotiations/advisory, financial modelling, due diligence, preparation of business plans and asset management.
Providing of assistance and advice to clients and the Partner on specific projects.
Manage work plans in order to deliver a high quality client service.
Attend client meetings, keeping up to date records and presenting to clients if required.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key intermediaries.
Business development including preparing tenders and presenting to potential clients
Work within a team environment |

| Required Skills: |
Requirements:
ACA/ACCA Qualified ‑ Trained within a Top 20 firm (audit/advisory/corporate finance)
Preferably with some exposure to corporate finance / restructuring / transaction advisory or debt advisory
Commercially astute and a genuine interest in corporate finance
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
Good level of proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
Report writing skills.
