Are you an experienced Fund Accountant with some financial reporting experience seeking to move towards a pure financial reporting position? Or are you experienced in financial reporting and looking to advance your career and move out of the city centre? This Financial Reporting position in Dublin West could be for you!
My client, a leading asset servicer and fund administrator, are seeking a financial reporting accountant (or PQ accountant) to join a small team with responsibility for the co-ordination and completion of financial statements for funds administered.
Financial Reporting:
Manage the financial reporting process for clients from planning, financial statement preparation and review, audit management, financial statement comment review and processing, board approval and filing.
Manage the preparation of the audited annual and interim financial statements within the team in compliance with relevant accounting standards and the relevant regulatory disclosure requirements.
Develop relationships with other internal departments, clients and auditors
Assist in the review of fund distribution calculations
Assist in review and completion of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns including monthly NAV return and MMIF reporting
Ensure errors or problems are identified and investigated on a timely basis; provide guidance for solutions to resolve
Ensure all tasks performed within the team are completed in a timely manner
Requirements:
Degree in business studies, accounting or similar
ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified
Relevant experience working with Irish UCITS regulations and IFRS
MS Excel and MS Word experience |
