| Description: |
Responsibilities:
Preparation of year-end accounts including managing the external audit process for construction and property companies.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accuracy of the general ledger.
Debtor Invoicing for Construction Contracts.
Credit Control.
Maintaining the Sub-contractor ledger.
Monthly and Quarterly reporting.
Ensuring Tax Compliance (VAT, RCT, RTD)
VAT & RCT Returns
Balance Sheet reconciliations of relevant accounts.
Ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
Oversee the Accounts team
Oversee property company accounts
Oversee management company accounts
Ad hoc reporting and duties as required.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate should possess a professional accounting qualification.
Experience in the construction industry a prerequisite
Strong analytical skills.
Good team player.
Professional attitude and approach to all.
Strong computer skills & administration skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivator.
Experience in SAP an advantage.
2-3 year PQE.
Ability to work on own initiative. |
