Job Title: Private Equity Opportunities - All Levels - FA and TA
Location: Dublin

Description:
Private Equity opportunities available at all levels with 3 clients in Dublin in Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.

The Role:

For Supervisors:

Serve as main daily client operational contact for a number of PE clients.
Develop relationships with all client contacts including investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors and banking personnel.
Supervise staff accountants on systems, processing, procedures and job responsibilities;
Train, coach and mentor new employees, develop and motivate staff within their team;
Provide input and feedback regarding employees’ ongoing performance / development / performance appraisals;
Review and approve work performed by fund accountants / analysts;
Review or prepare quarterly Management accounts for each structure
Review or prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices
Review or prepare Investors Capital Statements and relevant calculations
Understand, prepare and review waterfall calculations.
Coordinate annual fund audits.
Problem, error and query resolution on a timely basis (with documentation);
Meet all reporting deliverables;
Enforce adherence to department procedures, service standards and specified deadlines;
Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model;
Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within
Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures;
Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all employees for whom you have responsibility;
Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required.
For Seniors:

Communicating with the funds’ investment advisor.
Calculating the funds’ expenses and accruals.
Processing shareholder activity and reconciling to the funds’ transfer agent.
Maintaining accounting records.
Performing security and cash reconciliations.
Performing procedures to ensure funds are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Calculating and reporting the funds’ Net Asset Values (NAV’s).
Analysing changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested;
Strictly adhere to established departmental fund accounting processing procedures and controls
Meet client and investor reporting deliverables and deadlines
Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within our client
Train, coach and mentor employees on the team where appropriate.
Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility.
Adhoc tasks / projects as required.
For Transfer Agency:

Serve as an operational contact for a number of PE clients.
Serve as a contact for Fund and Investor queries.
Create new investors and maintain the investor register.
Prepare and review of capital call and distribution notices.
Prepare capital account statements and analyse the figures for accuracy.
Meet client and investor reporting deliverables and deadlines.
Assist in audit preparation when requested.
Following procedures to ensure funds are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the accounting team in the general day to day environment.
Adhere to department procedures, service standards and specified deadlines.
Meet all reporting deliverables.
Process distribution payments to investors as well as verifying the source of incoming funds.
Idea generation and providing input to possible improvements to processes.
Train, coach and mentor employees on the team where appropriate.
Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within our client
Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well Being for all employees for whom you have responsibility.
Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required.
Preferred Skills:

Previous experience working on Private Equity funds.
Knowledge of the Investran system.
Knowledge of Investment (Financial) Services industry in Europe
Team player.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines.
Flexible / Adaptable.
P.C. proficient particularly.
Third Level Degree in Finance or related field.
