| Description: |
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Accountant to join their team and work across two entities based in both Citywest (60%) and our HQ office in Sandyford (40%). The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment and will have strong audit and financial accounting experience.
Out client is an expanding family of businesses committed to healthcare, technology and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial reporting and preparing monthly/quarterly/annual management and statutory accounts
Processing tax assessments and filings, VAT and corporation tax (including deferred tax calculations).
Liaising with external parties (as and when required) such as auditors and tax advisors and manages related scheduling issues.
Involvement in special projects with management leading to improved efficiencies.
Completion of audit work.
Consolidation of Group results including posting of journals.
Assist in the analysis of group cash/debt position
Preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts
Ensure all inter-company balances reconcile on a monthly basis
Key Requirements:
The role will suit a Qualified Accountant from either practice or industry with at least 4 years’ work experience.
Strong audit / financial accounting experience.
Tax experience desired but not essential.
Willing to travel to the UK on a regular basis.
Full driver’s license is essential due to co-location
Understanding of consolidation accounting principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
Ability to work well as part of a team |
