| Description: |
Responsibilities:
To plan the daily / weekly workload for their team and allocate their resources accordingly
To ensure all TA work is correct and delivered within the agreed timelines.
Ensure all required and regulatory returns are checked and delivered within the deadline.
To provide direction to team members with any issues that arise.
To ensure timely escalation of issues to Head of Transfer Agency and Assistant Manager
Create effective working environment through proper coaching, explanation of work required and contribution to the appraisal process
Ensure all staff are trained to meet the required standard of knowledge and quality
Ensure staff are following procedures and adhering to checklists.
Update of procedures and fund specific checklists
Training of junior TA administrators and shall assist them in resolving day-to-day queries
Provide day-to-day management and direction of the team.
Monitor team performance to ensure staff are meeting the required performance levels
Manage and monitor the workflow for team members
Attend and contribute to operational, client and board meetings as and when required
To be involved in the new fund take on process
To ensure any Transfer Agency system issues are resolved in a timely manner
Manage projects as and when required
Candidate:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Transfer Agency with at least two years at a senior level.
People management experience desirable
In depth understanding of the A-Z Transfer Agency processes and cycles is a must
Knowledge of relevant Anti Money Laundering regulations and KYC requirements
An understanding of investor related requirements
Transfer Agency system knowledge
Computer literacy is essential, skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of varying fund types such as Retail Funds, Mutual and Hedge Funds.
Third level / business school qualification desirable.
