Description: |
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business, Lines of Defence, and Data Governance resources to define, communicate, and support standards of heightened supervision and ongoing initiatives. They will participate in projects and activities that ensure compliance with current applicable European and/or US laws and regulations and lead the adaptation and integration of new regulations as they arise.
The successful candidate will make recommendations to standardize procedures and processes and to introduce new technology or improve existing technology.
The Role:
Analyze the EU or US regulations that impact services with the ability to apply them to our business
In depth knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit
In-depth knowledge of the information and risk management needs of assigned business unit and pursues the business, managerial and technical skills necessary to support those needs
Responsible for risk and compliance oversight and facilitation functions that impact the Custody & Depositary services
Supports EFS risk and compliance for heightened supervision and ongoing initiatives such as ECRA, CCD, RCM, etc
Identify gaps and make recommendations to implement solutions that minimize losses, operations risk, and ensure compliance
Serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business, Lines of Defense, and Data Governance resources to define, communicate, and support standards of heightened supervision and ongoing initiatives
Recognized as an expert in their field and provides expert advice and consulting services to other functional areas or project groups by providing analytical and strategic project management support.
Experience in similar role which included application of regulatory change to an operational environment
Track record of managing multiple projects across multiple regions
Support exam and issue management by maintaining applicable systems to monitor, track, and provide reporting to management while maintaining a consistent data set from various systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in custody operations, business analysis, or risk management activities
Strong process facilitation, analytical skills, and project management skills. |
