Job Title: Compliance | AVP | Management Company

Description:
Carry out the duties and obligations as described in the UCITS Business Plan including dealing with the appointed designated persons with responsibility for the designated functions.
Carry out the duties and obligations as described in the AIFMD Programme of Activities
Manage the process of updating the Business Plan and Programme of Activity to meet the Central Bank of Ireland ("CBI") Requirements as set out in the CBI’s Fund Management Companies Guidance.
Managing the relationship with the appointed designated persons with responsibility for the designated functions.
Coordinate with the board, the company secretary and third parties in preparation for board meetings, preparation of Management Company reporting to the Board and attendance at board meetings.
Coordinate with internal teams, relevant fund parties and external legal advisers to meet the requirements of regulatory changes whether they affect the Funds, or the Management Company itself, e.g. Money Market Funds Regulations (MMFR), AIFMD, post-CP86.
Coordinate with internal Transition team the updating of fund documents as and when required, including prospectuses, trust deeds, application forms.
Coordinating with relevant internal and external parties the launch of new funds or the termination of existing funds.
CBI Online Reporting System administrator for the Funds.
Manage regulatory reporting requirements, e.g. Annex IV reporting, Japanese annual and semi-annual filings for funds distributed in Japan, annual Fund Profile returns, annual KIID filing, annual FDI return etc.
Coordinate the creation and maintenance of the Risk Management Process Document ("RMP") for funds using derivatives.
Working with fund distributors to facilitate marketing opportunities, investor queries. Manage the process of registration of UCITS for marketing in other jurisdictions.
Coordinate the creation and maintenance of KIID documents.
Creation and maintenance of procedures and policies.
Managing operational matters, such as securities pricing issues, investor trade issues, exceptions.
Preparation of fund budgets. Approval of fees. Review of fund financial statements.
Manage the monthly reporting from the fund delegates as required under the Business Plan and Programme of Activity. Supervision of delegates and adherence to service level agreements.
Manage relationship with fund parties and delegates.
Liaise with internal Compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and in respect of all correspondence with the CBI and host state regulators.
Essential Key Requirements:

At least five years’ experience in the fund’s industry.
Excellent knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements for AIF’s and UCITS.
Excellent administrative, organisational, planning and co-ordination skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
Ability to work with other teams and external service providers towards common goals.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word and Excel.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to review and understand Fund Documentation.
