Description: |
The Role:
Oversee development of staff within financial reporting team and overall responsibility for managing performance within the team.
Ensure all financial reporting and regulatory reporting procedures are adhered to and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Review of interim and annual financial statements for Investment Funds within the required deadlines in line with relevant accounting standards (primarily IFRS but also includes FRS 102 and US GAAP).
Attend client board meetings to present financial statements.
Responsibility for all audit planning and subsequent deliverables ensuring all deadlines is met.
Understand all regulation that impacts the preparation of the financial statements (e.g. UCITS and AIFMD)
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in managing a financial reporting/audit team
Degree in business studies, accounting or similar.
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with prior experience working with previous experience within financial reporting in Investment Funds |
