The Company:
My client, a long established Global Leader in the provision of Financial Services and Fund Administration is currently seeking to hire an experienced Compliance professional. They are company with an impressive heritage, excellent reputation for not only work/life balance, but also one with an extremely capable Executive Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth.
The Role:
This is a 3 month interim Senior Management position. Reporting to the EMEA MLRO, you will be responsible for ensuring that the business framework is in line with Irish legislation, conduct AML monitoring across a multitude of business areas, manage procedural compliance and ensure regulatory and statutory obligations are met.
About You:
This is quite a senior role reporting directly to European heads and indirectly to the European Governance Committee. You will have a mature outlook with excellent experience in Compliance with a particular focus on Anti Money Laundering. You’ll be comfortable in dealing with sometimes complex, layered issues with a keen eye for risk mitigation. You will ideally have experience in designing and implementing control procedures where a compliance framework requires updating. You’ll be a person who can see the bigger picture in a large organisation.
About the day to day:
Receiving, reviewing and making a final decision on suspicious activities/transactions within the group
Maintenance of compliance testing programs
Facing off with upper management/high profile clients surrounding AML/Compliance
Fostering a risk averse approach to Compliance matters across all teams |
