Job Title: Fund Accounting | Account Manager | Kildare
Location: Dublin

Remuneration: €45000 - €55000

Description:
Our client is experienced in managing commercial, corporate, SME, residential and property loan portfolios. Providing loan administration, facility agent, asset management and special servicing to the banking and securitisation markets.

Client:

Client Relationship: An escalation point-of-contact for multiple clients (internal and external)
Be the main contact for queries from internal department heads and senior management
Liaising with Fund Accounting teams, Custodians and Service Providers daily where issues arise with regards to the day-to-day running of Payment Processing, Budget Preparation, Ongoing Charges Review, Fee Analysis and Fee Calculations
Liaise directly with the Fund Accounting and New Business & Changes (€NB&C€) teams when dealing with fund changes. Represent Fees Team on NB&C operational calls
Operational:

Management of the day-to-day operations of the Fees team
Overview of the Payments process via Custodian system€s and transactions on our Fund Accounting system with particular emphasis on how these postings affect the Trial Balance/Balance Sheet.
Planning and allocating the preparation and review of Fee Budgets per Client on an annual and ad hoc basis
Ensuring Funds Ongoing Charges calculated, compared and reviewed to fund KIID documents, factoring in regulatory updates were applicable
Completing/Reviewing Fee Analysis per client to strict deadlines, ensuring the resulting accounting entries processed in the appropriate manner
Driving the team to complete and review Monthly Administrator, Investment Manager and Fee Cap calculations to the highest standards
Driving Efficiencies and Process Change in conjunction with internal and external requirements
Training and development:

To provide training generally and on specific issues to individuals and groups of staff as required
In the interests of team flexibility, to have regard to developing the skills and experience of members of the team in order to ensure they are able to address a wide range of tasks
Maintain a positive and professional work environment and actively manage team members to ensure minimum turnover
With assistance from Internal Resourcing, manage the recruitment process for new hires into the team
Compliance / Management Information:

To comply with appropriate internal controls within area of responsibility
Overall review of monthly Management Information to ensure all reporting is up to required standards and is provided within a timely manner
Ensuring that operational checklists are followed
Ensure that all Fee Team procedures are up-to-date and accurate
Be the main contact person for internal audit and compliance reviews
Project / Ad hoc duties:

To complete special projects and to perform other duties as required
Take an active role in the testing and implementation of new tasks as the team grows in size and complexity
Answering queries from Clients, Fund Accounting Teams and other Vendors
Represent Fees Team at management meetings and new projects forums
Essential:

Accounting
Fund Administration
Strong MS Office skills - in particular Excel
Accounting / Business Degree
4-5 years minimum Fund Accounting experience
