| Description: |
Senior Fund Accountant positions have opened up within Private Equity and Real Estate in Dublin. Although the requirements are for seniors primarily, open positions are across most levels with a few different companies, so from more junior levels through to AVP, with training being provided for the more junior roles.
Day to day some of the duties will include providing client service on a multitude of matters including recording and analysing transactions, reconciliations, and preparation of work paper packages, and assisting with the preparation of client service plans, calendars and timelines, financial statements and process distributions to investors among others.
The jobs offer really good progression opportunities and with Private Equity being a new enough area in Dublin, the time it takes to get promoted to the next level is a lot shorter than with traditional Funds. Plus the Irish market is moving towards these Fund structures long term, so in a few years’ time it will be a regular requirement that companies look for.

Role:
Work on Private Equity Funds daily
Deal with clients directly in relation to Funds
Work on ad hoc projects
Complete Waterfall calculations and Distributions
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience as a Fund Accountant
ACCA qualification preferred but not essential
Experience with NAV calculations
Exposure to Hedge, Mutual or Private Equity Funds |
