About my Client
My client is a leading provider of Fund Administration to diverse Financial Services industry client base including management companies, alternative and traditional investment funds, private family offices, institutional investors, unit trusts, banks, aircraft lessors, and more.
They have a very strong argument for being the best employer within Fund Administration, with almost zero overtime, low staff attrition, and consistently high survey feedback on staff morale.
About the Role
This hire has arisen due to new backfill, where the prior incumbent has been promoted. Reporting locally to the Head of Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional administration services to a range of clients and act as business manager to key investment managers and investors providing them with a consistently high level of client service.
A critical aspect of the role is people management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team are a high performing, efficient unit. You will manage workflows, ensure their work (NAVs, fee calculations, reconciliations etc.) is at the required standard, release it to client and be that clients’ first point of contact. You will partake in your team’s goal setting, one to one meetings and annual appraisals.
Change management and Project work will take up a portion of your role and experience of leading Fund Launches, Fund Closures and New Business Implementation is required. You’ll need to keep close to risk & controls and perform quarterly risk reviews ensuring robust controls are in place.
About You
You will already be at Manager Level, experienced with the hands on management of a team of at least 8 staff. Alternative investment experience is strongly preferred though funds of varying structures will be considered. Preferably, you will have experience from A-Z NAV producing business. You will be keen to shine in a growing organisation where attrition is low, and prospects for advancement are high. |
