The Role:
My client is looking to hire a Trainee Accountant to their growing team. This role is ideal for anyone training and studying for a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA), primarily in a technical and financial reporting role.
Your day to day will encompass such things as;
Preparation of financial statements for clients.
Preparation of financial highlights disclosures for financial statements.
Preparation of management accounts on a periodic basic (monthly/quarterly/etc).
Preparation of excel schedules and notes as support for financial statements.
Liaising with external parties in relation to financial statements, including investment managers, administrators, auditors and other service providers.
Present financial statements for review to the Practice Manager/Principal.
Assistance with research of complicated transactions to ensure the accounting treatment is correct.
About You:
Achieved or are currently on target for a 2.1 honours degree or higher.
Proficient in MS office.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks, works on multiple assignments, and manages change.
Ability to adhere to strict time deadlines.
A proactive approach to work.
Some relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) |
