Job Title: FATCA Specialist - Transfer Agency, Dublin

Description:
The Role:

Boutique Fund Manager seeking Senior FATCA Administrator to join their Transfer Agency Team in Dublin!

The FATCA Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and assisting the Transfer Agency department with the daily and monthly functions surrounding FATCA, UK CDOT, Common Reporting Standards and any similar future regulatory requirements

Education:

You will have an Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree. Min. 2.2 honours degree
Responsibilities:

Perform approval on all investor FATCA documents in accordance with fund documentation requirements and procedures
Ensure all established FATCA procedures and controls are completed accurately and to specified deadlines
Ensure accurate and complete investor and client data is maintained in the FATCA systems
Ensure accurate and timely client reporting
Perform quality control checks and approval on client correspondence, investor and compliance reporting
Responsible for investigations into rejected FATCA documents and missing FATCA documents
Serve as main overall client operational FATCA contact
Ensure efficient resolution of client and investor queries
Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units
Train, coach and mentor new employees, develop, motivate and provide on-going feedback to staff within their sub-unit, ensuring appropriate documentation of same
Managing oneself to keep up to date with industry developments around FATCA and other similar regulatory changes
Work with Manager to ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures
Assist in the development and implementation of departmental FATCA procedures & processes
Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model
Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all employees for whom you have responsibility
Work on Projects / ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:

Third level qualification in business related discipline. Min 2.2
Essential skills:

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills ‑ PC proficient
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time for efficiency and to meet strict deadlines
Detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills
Team player - flexible and adaptable
Essential knowledge:

2 to 4 years Transfer Agency background, or similar
Experience with Investor or similar Transfer Agency system
Knowledge of FATCA requirements
Experience in client facing roles
Desirable knowledge:

Knowledge of FATCA and CRS
Knowledge of TA systems
