About my Client
My client, a long established independent Financial Services provider is currently seeking to add to their Management Team. A company with an impressive heritage, excellent reputation for not only work/life balance, but also one with an extremely capable and experienced Senior Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth in their mid-sized Dublin Office. They are a pioneering, client centric organisation underpinned by their commitment to superior client service. Although all employees are currently work from home, there has been zero drop in service capacity and it has been a smooth transition.
About the Role
Sitting within the broader Depositary function, your primary responsibility will be to independently monitor, assess, report and provide recommendations on effective problem solutions for any operational issues arising specific to Net Asset Value breaches or errors as well as monitoring borrowing restrictions and investment compliance. You will perform on-site due diligence visits (hopefully soon!) and regularly face off with clients. You’ll coordinate communications with the regulator and external auditor liaison, and you’ll also advise prospective clients on their regulatory requirements for fund set ups in Ireland. Note that this role is initially a 9m FTC, however there is ample opportunity for conversion to a permanent position within the duration of the contract.
About You
You’ll have about 1 years’ experience within Depositary or Trustee, though experience in Fund Accounting and Custody will be considered. You’ll have knowledge of Hedge Funds and Prime Broker relationships. There are no direct reports in this role but you will be expected to act as a senior and assist with junior team member training. |
