| Description: |
The Custody representative will be the custody point of contact and resolve custody related queries received by depositary.
Daily Operations:
Establish contacts with the various operational teams to ensure custody queries are allocated to the correct department and are actioned and resolved promptly
Identify, escalate and monitor the prompt resolution of custody queries until resolution
Follow the trades’ status through the settlement cycles and follow up on any late settled/failed trades in addition to investigating any outstanding or aged items
Attend and participate on operational calls for newly launching funds and migrating (both in and out) funds to address any custody related items
Oversight of the sub-custodian reconciliations and cash correspondents’ reconciliations process in addition to investigating any outstanding or aged items
Perform a review of the weekly focus file and ensure that all aged cash reconciliation items are followed up, escalated and resolved promptly
Assist with the preparation of the Monthly Outstanding Cash and Securities Committee presentation.
Assist with the preparation of all custody reporting for senior management
Skills/Knowledge:
1-2 years custody experience
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Third level business qualification desirable
Essential Skills:
Excellent organisational, inter-personal and communication skills
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy. |
