About my Client
My client, a long established and successful Financial Services business, is a leading provider of Fund Administration and Management Company Services. They are a US company with strong roots in Ireland, with an excellent reputation for not only work/life balance and flexibility, but also one with an extremely capable, professional and tenured Management team who have well defined plans for department and company growth.
About the Role
This role has arisen due to promotion and the required backfill for this person. Reporting to the team Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional administration services to a range of Hedge Fund clients.
You will act as key point of contact to premier investment managers and investors. You will review and approve NAV calculations, expense budgets, and revenue reporting and performance fee calculation, along with assisting in Financial Statement Preparation, and month end valuations.
You will also be responsible for the management of a small team of three Analysts and Senior Analysts. This will include review and sign off of their assigned work, training and development, partaking in performance appraisals, and more. In turn, you will deputise for your manager in their absence.
In this visible role, you will work on projects to enhance the current service offering and process improvements in a risk-controlled environment.
About You
You’ll be a hands-on, ambitious and motivated Supervisor or Senior ready for the next step. Team Development, succession planning and performance management all make up part of the people management skills you’ll need, plus influencing skills, good client relationship management skills, operational efficiency and a personal approach are all valuable skills for this role.
Knowledge of complex investment types (derivatives and OTC derivatives), regulatory requirements, and performance fee methodologies would be sought after.
