About my Client
My client, an established Corporate Bank is currently seeking to grow their Dublin Office. They are an Asian, state-owned firm with strong roots in Ireland whose core focus is investment lending. Please note that as the bank is state-owned some of the in-house financial services systems operate in a closed environment and cannot be accessed by the internet. Therefore, there is a requirement to be in the office 5 days per week. Office hours are 8.30-4.30 Mon-Fri and there is no overtime. Work is high value, low volume and working environment relaxed.
Their office is south city-centre, near the Green Luas line.
About the Role
Reporting to the local Head of Accounting, your role will be to provide day to day accounting services for the business. The work is high-value, low volume so your hours are static.
Management Accounting
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
Financial Statement Preparation
Income Statement Analysis
Audit Preparation and Management
Annual Returns
Budget Analysis
Tax Reporting and Compliance (e.g. VAT, Corporation Tax)
About You
You’ll have around 1 year’s post-qualified experience (though experience in a similar role without a qualification is sufficient), with a clear specialism an accountancy function. Ideally, you’ll have worked in a Corporate Services business before, but this is not essential and recently qualified from Big4 will be considered. |
