About the Company
My client is a world leading, award-winning, independent provider of financial services outsourcing such as alternative fund administration, custodial & corporate banking, and technology solutions across the financial services industry to a client base including investment funds, insurance and life, private clients and wealth managers.
About The Role:
This permanent hire is arising on the back of new business and organic growth within the department. This team is a highly skilled and dependable outsource option for Advisers to prepare financial statements, ensuring they conform to the latest accounting guidance.
You will oversee a small team of 5 comprising of those with significant public accounting experience, and financial reporting specialists with relevant industry experience and manage workflow processes for them. Clients are dispersed globally with a focus on Europe and the US and is most certainly client facing.
As one would expect, the day-to-day focus is on financial reporting returns under FRS102, US, Cayman, UK and Lux GAAP amongst others, and Central Bank of Ireland regulatory reporting returns. You will control workflows for audit engagements, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as Sales, Legal & Compliance, internal & external auditors, and the Irish Stock Exchange/Euronext amongst others.
Salary at this level is above market average.
About You:
You will have a client focused outlook, comfortable in dealing with C suite executives, and building and managing relationships. At the same time, you will be able to manage a busy and diverse workload. You will have similar, relevant experience from an Asset Manager, Administrator, or Audit firm and be proficient in multiple jurisdictional reporting standards and ideally have a good understanding of complex financial instruments and fund structures. |
