| Description: |
We currently have a role for a candidate with approximately 5 years experience within Fund Administration with specific experience of Fee Calculation.
This is a permanent full time role with a company who will provide job security and long term career options. The company will also provide an excellent salary and benefits.
While the ACCA is not essential it would be seen as beneficial.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the production of accurate and timely weighted average sub advisor fees per fund
• Review and sign off on monthly reports to ensure fund expenses are correctly accrued and charged to funds - including voluntary cap calculations, reimbursements, profitability, TERs, etc.
• Establish a robust methodology and system to facilitate the internal allocation of revenue and fund expenses
• Review and sign off on monthly client rebate calculations provided by third party administrator
• Work with sales, legal and IM to execute accurate fee set ups and agreements with new and existing clients, sub advisors and third party vendors
• Act as key point of contact on all fee enquires from both internal and external parties
• Work closely with IT and Finance to develop fee systems, processes and reporting
• Perform periodic reconciliations and reviews on fund expenses and fees, including the provision of reporting to managements on findings, recommendations for cost efficiencies etc.
• Responsible for timely receipts and payments of both direct and indirect fees with third party administrator and vendors.
• Assist with the annual budget process
• Responsible for the review of the semi and annual accounts for the Mercer funds
Experience
• At least 5 years relevant experience
• Good working knowledge of fund structure and parties to the fund and related fees
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients at all levels
• Eager to learn and enthusiastic
