Our client is a leading outsourcing company maintaining key business functions for their clients located globally.
Due to the continued growth and expansion of our client?s business we are looking for a Slovak or Russian speaking Assistant Financial Controller to join their offices in Warsaw.
The role:
Responsible for the balance sheet accounts reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation process
Preparation and posting of journal entries
Ensure close process is completed in an accurate and timely manner - preparation of accruals, pre-paid releases, posting of bank transactions.
Perform a high level review of both B/S and P/L for obvious errors, omissions or inconsistencies
Manage the preparation of all compliance documentation as defined by the client, responsible for SOX compliance within the team
Support audit of financial statements as required
The Person:
Fluent in Slovak or Russian with good communication skills in English
A degree in accountancy, economics or finance
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
Ability to work analytically within a problem solving environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
