Job Title: Senior Risk Officer
Location: Dublin

Pay range: €100,000 - €119,999

Description:
Lead the Risk Management team (to include all elements of the wider risk management organisational structure) in Ireland and actively contribute as a member of the Ireland Senior Management Team, across all legal entities and lines of business. Senior Regulatory (Central Bank of Ireland) contact for all Risk related matters.

This is a Pre-Approved Control Function (PCF) role as specified in the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity regime.

Required Skills: Act as Legal Entity Risk Officer for each of our clients regulated entities and branches in Ireland. Ensure all global risk policies and own local risk policies are applied across the Ireland campus (all locations). Ensure local regulatory requirements are incorporated into policy where appropriate. Ensure that appropriate risk strategies, policies and procedures are developed, implemented and are subject to on-going review

Ensure that the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework is applied effectively across the Ireland Campus. Ensure the effective operation of the Ireland Risk Management Committee. Ensure regulated entities and branches have appropriately detailed a specific risk appetite statements, fully complete and up to date risk registers, Ensure complete coverage of RCSA’s and KRI’s across all operations. Own the Capital Planning process across the Irish subsidiaries. Own any and all risk management remediation arising in respect of local regulatory inspections. Participate at the Boards of our clients regulated subsidiaries in Ireland, as required. Ensure that Board reporting and analysis is robust and has appropriate ownership. Author Management presentations and reports on specific issues of Risk Management. Attend UK Holdings Board meeting to present on risk management issues affecting the Irish subsidiaries. Establish risk tolerance levels/ limits/ appetite and ensure that these are continually reflected in the firm's culture, policies and procedures.

Ensure that appropriate and timely action/ plans are implemented and monitored regarding significant issues identified by Compliance, Internal and the External Auditors, internal control testing, Legal and regular risk reporting and coordinate effective risk management among these stake holders. Act as Chair of the Ireland Crisis Management Team and ensure the effective application of Global Business Continuity Policy in Ireland. Ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged in the BCP agenda. Actively contribute to the development of the business continuity, corporate security and information risk management agendas and resources in Ireland.

Alert management including the Chief Risk Officer and EMEA Chief Risk Officer immediately of any significant changes to business risks and internal control effectiveness.

Notify management and/or the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer and Head of International Compliance immediately on discovery of any material regulatory breach.

Comply with all Security and Health & Safety policies and procedures operating within the business.
