Job Title: Trustee Vice President (Manager)

Description:
My client, a Global Administrator of Hedge Fund Services are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic Trustee Manager for their Dublin Office. This is an excellent option to work in a fast paced, exciting company with excellent potential for advancement.

Required Skills: Key Accountabilities:

Primary degree or equivalent in a business/finance related subject.

4 - 6 years professional experience in a relevant area.

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Highly organised, detail orientated and self-motivated.

Strongly team orientated.

Proven ability to work effectively with other departments and external clients.

Experienced in managing and completing a variety of projects simultaneously.

Displays a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently and efficiently.

Ability to communicate professionally with others, both orally and in written format.

A high degree of computer literacy.

Proven aptitude for numbers and accuracy.

Strong focus on mentoring and coaching all direct reports.

Management:

Liaising with clients, both internal and external.

Managing a compliance team of up to 8 Trustee Services staff.

Monitoring and evaluating team performance and carrying out annual reviews.

Providing on-going daily support to the Trustee Manager

Designing and preparing monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management information reports.

Trustee Policy:

Ensuring adherence to the Trustee policy whilst liaising with other European offices.

Reviewing and updating existing controls and procedures in place where appropriate.

Managing the implementation of controls and procedures.

Continuously improving processes and gaining efficiencies.

Assisting in the implementation of an automated compliance program for all full service funds including new funds.

Supervising the smooth running of the automated compliance programme on the necessary required frequency.

Ensuring funds are operating within the Regulatory and constitutional documentation guidelines and confirming completeness of compliance reviews.

Communicating with clients where they are not in compliance with the fund constituting documentation, carrying out research and corresponding on client queries.

Ensuring rectification of any breaches in a timely manner.

Responding to ad hoc client queries.

Reviewing annual and semi-annual accounts.

Preparing quarterly and ad hoc board reports

Identify team training requirements and arranging appropriate training.

Contributing to and participating in special projects, as may arise.

Legal and Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority

Review:

Discussing the interpretation of the Notices for UCITS and non UCITS funds with the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (the Financial Regulator).

On Site Visits:

Preparing for and attending on-site visits to third party providers.

Reviewing the controls and procedures in operation.

Assisting in all checking and researching.

Drafting and issuing a report after the each site visit.

Meetings:

Attending start up and on-going operations meetings with new and existing clients, investment managers and others as required.
