Job Title: Fund Accountant Account Manager - Wexford, Cork & Dublin

Description:
Fund Accountant Account Manager

The primary function of the FA Oversight Operations Team is to oversee service delivery for all outsourced Fund Accounting activities, in line with relevant internal regulatory requirements. To achieve this goal, the FA Oversight Operations Team will use a variety of tools to review and monitor daily and non daily fund accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
•Review Fund Accounting’s Completion Attestation and Checklists to ensure the required tasks are completed by the Fund Accounting Teams
•Review EMS Cycle Summary Report to validate that all exceptions are in approved status onEMSvia the Cycle Summary Report
•Review Fund Performance based on daily movement and comparative benchmark
•Review Share Class Performance to ensure that all share class performance returns are aligned across any single sub-fund and significant deviations are identified and justified
•Review Service Provider Dash Board which details timeliness and accuracy of Fund Accounting deliverables by client with narratives for each day’s deliverables
•Perform a quality assurance review of Investor Tax
•Monitor and follow up on Compliance review findings
•Maintain a library of procedures, desk notes, lifecycle diagrams and relevant training materials, which can be referred as required
•Participate in the Outsourced Operations Meetings.
•Monitor team workflow ensuring all tasks are allocated with primary and secondary cover and scheduled according to deadline priorities
•Distribute workload and responsibilities to people with sufficient experience and capability
•Promote staff awareness of their individual and team responsibilities
•Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings to update staff on relevant developments and get feedback on operational issues
•Promote an environment of open and clear communication ensuring staff maintain a friendly and professional relationship with all internal and external parties
•Manage overtime requirements and staff availability during holiday and other peak periods
•Ensure staff have clear objectives and up to date job descriptions relevant to their current role
•Prompt identification, escalation and resolution of any performance issues within the team
•Identify and communicate new staffing requirements to line management
•Assist with recruitment and completion of staff appraisal and personal development plans.

Required Skills: Quality & Risk control:
•Ensure no material audit issues arise by identifying, reporting and addressing potential risk areas
•Arrange regular tests to identify any operational inconsistencies from agreed checklists, controls, guidelines and written procedures
•Update current statistics and issues for weekly management information system (MIS) pack. Review weekly MIS pack to be aware of relevant issues across other groups within the company
•Work with line management on ad-hoc projects and initiatives to ensure agreed client service levels are met
Desirable Skills: Essential knowledge:
•At least 3 years experience in an area of financial services
•Desirable to have a broad Fund Accounting experience preferably with experience implementing controls and working in cross team projects
•Experience implementing controls and writing procedures
•Knowledge of the roles of all key players within the Fund Administration process
