| Description: |
Legal Counsel within Funds
Providing legal counsel to one of world’s leading financial services provider within funds; you will be joining a small close-knit team supporting hedge investment business within Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrahedge across multiple jurisdictions.
To be considered, you should have 5yrs PQE (3yrs within the funds space either at an international law firm or international financial services organization) specialist expertise in English, Jersey or Irish law and regulations applicable to the financial services sector within the broader European law framework, and solid qualifications. |

| Required Skills: |
Responsible for the provision of legal advice and support to AIS business colleagues in Jersey, Guernsey, London, Luxembourg and Dublin, including the drafting and negotiation of agreements between the client and its clients
Helping the client in fulfilling its responsibilities in relation to risk management by identifying legal risks and working with the business to design and implementing measures to reduce and/or manage risks
Preserve the integrity, good-standing and reputation of the client by providing accurate, timely and commercial legal advice, support and solutions
Provide corporate governance support to the boards of directors of AIS legal entities in Jersey, Guernsey and England |
| Experience: |
Take a lead role in selecting, instructing and supervising external counsel
Work with the business as a Deal Team member to effectively finalize new client agreements
Advise and support the business re the implementation of requirements pursuant to new laws and regulations
Provide advice on potential client claim matters
Provide legal advice with respect to updating legal templates to work on various legal projects as required and be a team player |
